Iran Spokesman urges media to be vigilant against enemies soft war

Qom, Aug 29, IRNA – Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mihman-Parast said media should be vigliant towards the soft war waged by the enemies.
He made the remark at the end of his one day trip to the holy city of Qom on Saturday where he met with a number of religious scholars.
Talking to media and press, he said it would be a mistake for the media to focus on subjects designed by enemies.
He said the media should try to deflate enemies’ plots by reflecting view points of the officials in a professional manner.
Referring to false claims of enemies in support of human rights and fight against terrorism, Mihman-Parast said that in an era of soft war, the media should not wait for the enemies to attack them but rather they should disclose the weaknesses and inhuman and immoral behaviors of the enemies.
The spokesman by referring to the enemies techniques in soft war arena, said that nowadays, heads of states of western countries who are themselves caught in social crises start to defend and support a woman who is sentenced to death for betraying her husband and killing him by help of other men with whom she was involved.
He added that our media should remind people about such contradictory, inhuman and inappropriate stances and point out to the silence of these very same countries regarding the massacre of five thousand innocent Palestinian women and children in Gaza.
Noting that Iran is the biggest victim of terrorism, he added that the west attacked Iraq and Afghanistan and killed 110 thousand innocent people pretending it was trying to fight terrorism.
However, he added, the main question to be answered here that has terrorism eliminated or expanded in those countries?
Forming separatist moves in Kurdistan and Khuzestan, creating disunion between Shiite and Sunni Muslims, imposing war and sanctions, nuclear energy dispute and soft war against the Islamic Revolution are among mistakes of the USA because they do not know Iranian people and rely on analysis of some wrongdoers./end
