‘RESTORATION OF AZERBAIJAN`S TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY IS OF SPECIAL IMPORTANCE FOR ENSURING PEACE IN REGION’
Baku, August 28 (AzerTAc). Restoration of Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity is of special importance to ensure peace in the region, Isık Kosaner, new Chief of the General Staff of Turkey, said.
According to Kosaner, steps to normalize relationship between Turkey and Armenia have yielded no results, so far. “This process is underway,” he added.
Kosaner noted Russia`s concerns over the efforts which are made by the US and NATO to expand their spheres of influence in the South Caucasus region will cause new problems.
He also underlined the necessity of taking strict measures to fight terrorism.
