Palestinian President due to in Yemen

SANA'A, Aug. 26 (Saba) - Well-informed sources said on Thursday that the Palestinian President
Mahmoud Abbas is to arrive in Yemen on
a few-day visit on Thursday.
The sources told the state-run weekly 26 September that Abbas would
hold meetings with President Ali Abdullah Saleh and a number of senior
officials in the government, briefing
them on the last developments in the Palestinian arena, as well as the exerted efforts to achieve Palestinian-Palestinian conciliation.
Abbas will talked with Saleh on developments in peace process in the
Middle East on the light of the US President Barak Obama's call and the
announcement of the resumption
of direct negotiations between Palestine and Israel.
