Aid distributed to flood's victims in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Aug. 25 (Saba) - Al-Zahra Charitable Foundation distributed on Wednesday foodstuffs and housewares as well as
sheep for the victims of floods victims in Hodeidah governorate.

The assistance was distributed to 61 houses and 11 families of the deceased victims
of the disastrous floods that swept some villages in the governorate during the
last
two days.
Chairman of Al-Zahra Charitable Foundation Mohammed al-Hatmai said the
beneficiaries' of the flood victims from the foundation's assistance reached around
200 families to
alleviate their suffering.
Al-Hatami affirmed that the foundation is to provide more relief material for more
victims to being counted currently.
Heavy floods streamed on Sunday over al-Zuhrah district of Hodeidah governorate
have killed about ten people.
The floods have damaged entirely and partly about fifty houses in addition to
sweeping out some of agricultural areas in the district.
Worth to mention is that heavy floods have hit the same district [al-Zuhrah] ten
days ago and destroyed about 250 houses.
