Yemen development needs top GCC Ministerial Council 116th session

SANA'A, Aug. 25
(Saba) - The 116th session of the Ministerial Council for the Gulf Cooperation
Council (GCC)
member states will identify the development needs for Yemen, Secretary-General of
the GCC Abdul Rahman ibn Hamad al-Attiya has said, according to 26.sep.net.
The session will be held in the coming September in the Saudi city of Jeddah under
the chairmanship of Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs
Sheikh
Mohammad Sabah Al Salem Al Sabah.
It is going to discuss the General Assembly minutes of the meeting's results of the
8th joint technical committee.
The session's agenda is to include discussion of the strategic dialogue with
Russia, Turkey and China as well as the Association of Southeast Asian Nations
(ASEAN).
The General Assembly two minutes related to signing an economic cooperation
agreement with Malaysia and the results of the 8th joint technical committee
meeting are also
to be included in the session agenda.
The GCC Secretary-General pointed out that the ministers are to deal with many
political issues, topped by the case of UAE islands to resolve the issue peacefully
with Iran.
