Defence names dead soldier

The latest Australian soldier to die in Afghanistan has been named as father-of-one
Jared MacKinney.
Lance Corporal MacKinney died in a firefight while on patrol.
A statement from his family, issued by Defence, says he leaves behind a wife Beckie,
a three-year-old daughter Annabell, and an unborn child.
Lance Corporal MacKinney is the 21st Australian soldier to die in Afghanistan.
