Tajik authorities ask RF, Afghan services to help detect fugitives.

DUSHABE, August 23 (Itar-Tass) - Tajik security services have asked
Russian and Afghan colleagues to help detect and detain the group of
convicts who escaped from jail overnight.
Among the fugitives are persons convicted on charges of attempting to
organise a coup d'etat, First Deputy Chief of the National Security
Committee Kasim Gafarov said during the meeting with local reporters on
Monday. Foreign reporters were not invited to the meeting.
Among the fugitives are citizens of Russia and Afghanistan, aside from
Tajik citizens, Gafarov said.
As was earlier reported, six Russian citizens are among them. The
Tajik Supreme Court sentenced them to terms from 19 to 30 years.
The general added that photos of the convicts were sent to all the
police and security structures in regions. Besides, photos of the
criminals will be shown on state television channels during the day.
Details of the search operation are not made public.
