Ten killed, three missing due to floods in Yemen
HODEIDAH, Aug. 23 (Saba) - About ten people were killed due to the floods that streamed on Sunday over al-Zuhrah district of Hodeidah province.
Director General of al-Zuhrah district Abdul al-Rahman al-Refa'i said that three
people are still missing so far.
Al-Refa'i added that the floods have damaged entirely and partly about fifty houses
in addition to sweeping out some of agricultural areas in the district.
As soon as reported, the province's leadership has formed a committee to assess the
damage resulting from the floods which have lasted for more then seven hours,

said, adding that the floods were the heaviest for over forty years.
Worth to mention is that heavy floods have hit the same district [al-Zuhrah] last
week and destroyed about 250 houses.
