DELEGATION OF PRESIDENTIAL OFFICE VISITS TEXAS STATE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In frames of the project on deepening reforms in court, initiated by the President Ts.Elbegdorj, a Mongolia official group has visited the USA.
The delegation comprising a head of the Presidential Office D.Battulga, a legal advisor to the President G.Ganzorig, and advisor to the President Dr. B.Chimed have visited Texas State to get acquainted with legal procedure and activities of the Texas Bar Association and its structure.
The delegation has met Aric Short Short, an Associate Dean for Academic Affairs of the Texas Wesleyan Law School, and Joe Spurlock, professor of Law at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law and director of the Court Training of Asia. The sides agreed to widen the collaboration between the Presidential Office and the Texas Wesleyan University, to involve the Presidential Office's officials in short-term training and courses. The Presidential Office invited professors and teachers of the University to conduct trainings and researches in Mongolia.
The Mongolian delegation also met with Wallace B.Jefferson, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Texas, and with judges of Tarrant district and Hillsboro country of Texas, got au fait with judicial system of Texas, rules of selecting and appointing judges and activities of the Ethical Committee of Judges.
The same day, the delegation met with Rick Perry, a Governor of Texas State, and Ken Armbrister, a Texas Governor's Director of Legislative Affairs. They exchanged views on the cooperation issues and agreed to work out certain proposals.
