G.ERDENEBOLD BECOMES OLYMPIC CHAMPION
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Mongolia's team has won the second gold medal in the First Summer Youth Olympic Games (YOG). On August 22, gymnastics sportsman Erdenebold Ganbat won this gold in the boys’ vault. A total score of Erdenebold's two performances stood at 15.662.
Silver medal has gone to Ferhat Arican (Turkey) with 15.650 points, a bronze one--to Nestor Abad (Spain) with 15.450 points.
G. Erdenebold has also gianed a 5th place in the men's rings.
A right to take part in the Singapore games G.Erdenebold, born May 28, 1993, won by grabbing a silver medal from the Youth Asian Championship for gymnastics in Tokio last March.
