YGSMRB, Total Co. sign finance agreement

SANA'A, Aug. 22 (Saba) - Yemen Geological
Survey and Mineral Resources Board (YGSMRB) and Total Company signed on Sunday an
agreement
to finance an oil wing at the Geological Museum of the board.
Under this agreement, signed by YGSMRB's Chairman Ismail al-Ganad and Total
Company's Executive Manage in Yemen Hatem Nasibah, the Total Company provides USD
83,670 to finance
the implementation of the oil wing in the museum.
The wing, to be implementing over the next six months, includes the geology of oil
and its exploration and extraction and use in different industries and films and
documentaries
about the oil, which give an idea to any visitor or researcher on how the oil came
into existence and its extraction in simplified way.
The YGSMRB works on establishing the Geological Museum as the first museum in Yemen
for definition of Yemen's geology and natural resources.
