WFP`s relief efforts in Amran discussed

AMRAN, Aug.21 (Saba)- Undersecretary of
Amran province and head of the relief committee ,Saleh Abu Auja, discussed on
Saturday with
the World Food Program (WFP)'s Director in Yemen aspects of cooperation in the
humanitarian field.
Abu Auja appreciated the WFP's humanitarian efforts towards the displaced families
from Saada province and Harf Sofin district of Amran province due to the insurgency
war.
He expressed his hope for further expansion in the program activity, especially
under increasing the number of displaced people in Amran to about 55 thousand
people.
The leadership of Amran province would offer all facilities and cooperation to the
program staff in the province for the success of its humanitarian efforts, Abu Auja
confirmed.
