180 domestic, foreign reporters covering Bushehr PNN events

180 correspondents are covering the fuel injection operations in Bushehr Powrer Plant.

An official in the power plant, Mahmoud Jaafari, said the number includes reporters, photojournalists and cameramen from media and press both from inside and outside the country.

He said foreign correspondents include people from news agencies, dailies and TV news channels belonging to such countries as Germany, Turkey, the UAE, the US, the UK, Japan, Switzerland, France, Qatar, Lebanon, Egypt and the Netherlands.

He also referred to DPA, ZDF, ARD, RTL TV, APTN, PC, CNN, AP, NHK TV channels and Washington Post, UPC News Agency, Reuters, Xinhua, China International Radio and Kyodo as some of the news channels and news agencies present in the ceremony.

According to the official, AFP news agency from France, Al-Jazeera TV news network from Qatar, Al-Manar from Lebanon, Kuwait TV, ANA news agency from Egypt, VPRO from India and Yomiuri from Japan are also present in the site to give coverage to the fuel injection operations.

Jaafari also noted that a number of leading Iranian news agencies, newspapers and TV channels as well as local press and media people are also present in the event.

Fuel injection operations started in Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant this morning at the presence of Iran’s Vice President Ali Akbar Salehi and Sergei Kiriyenko, General Director of Rosatom, the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation.
