11 soldiers killed in ambush by Al-Qaeda in Abyan
SANA'A, Aug. 11 (Saba)- An official source at the Ministry of Interior announced on Friday that some Al-Qaeda elements carried out today an attack on a group of the Central Security Forces who were stationed in
Lowdar city of Abyan, performing their duty, killing 11 soldiers.
The source said that fierce confrontations took place with the Al-Qaeda outlaw
elements, indicating that massive hunt-down operations are underway to arrest the
perpetrators
and present them to justice.
It affirmed that those behind this coward act will not escape punishment and will
receive their preventive penalty.
