BISHKEK, August 19 (Itar-Tass) -- The Kyrgyz government hopes to get
200 million dollars from the EurAsEC anti-crisis fund, First Deputy Prime
Minister of the republic Amangeldi Muraliyev said here on Thursday while
presenting an anti-crisis plan of development of the republic's economy
worked out by the government.
According to Muraliyev, in the current year, the country expects to
have a budget deficit of 13.5 percent from the gross domestic product. "To
cover it, we need about 619 million dollars, 200 million of the sum we
hope to get from the EurAsEC anti-crisis fund," Muraliyev said. In the
emerged difficult economic situation, he went on to say, the Kyrgyz
government tries to find additional sources of revenues, including inside
the country with the help of reducing expenditures.
As a whole, as Muraliyev stressed, we'll need about 1.2 billion
dollars within two and a half years to implement the anti-crisis plan
worked out by the government. At the same time, he admitted that the
republic won't do without foreign financial support. "In this plan we hope
that our main partners - - Russia and Kazakhstan - - will continue giving
aid to us," the deputy prime minister noted. According to him, in case of
