PAKISTAN APPRECIATES AZERBAIJAN`S ASSISTANCE
Baku, August 18 (AzerTAc). “We are very pleased that the friendly Azerbaijani government stands beside us in our difficult time,” Pakistan`s ambassador Abdul Hamid said.
The ambassador noted the natural calamity in Pakistan had resulted in heavy casualties and damaged the country`s infrastructure.
According to Hamid, the Azerbaijani Government`s providing assistance to Pakistan in these difficult times is a sign of friendship and fraternity.
The diplomat pointed out that Azerbaijan and Pakistan always share the same position and support each-other in international organizations.
He also expressed confidence that the bilateral relationship would continue to develop.
