FIRST DEPUTY PREMIER WORKS IN ARKHANGAI
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The First Deputy Premier N.Altankhuyag visited last weekend Arkhangai aimag to get au fait with works being done with assistance and aid of MNT 60 billion allotted from the state budget for supporting productions in localities.
In frames of the project of supporting small- and middle-sized production, the aimag involved 70 projects in a financing of MNT 845.0 million in previous year. Thanks to it, 100 new jobs were created. This year, MNT 650 million will be granted for promoting small- and middle-sized production. As of today, 47 entities and citizens received loans of MNT 433.0 million.
The First Deputy Premier met the local businessmen who had received the loans of the fund for this production as well as those who did not satisfy terms of the loans. He received their opinions and considered difficulties in their business.
Then Altankhuyag visited factories of the “Gost Trade”, “Suvdan tsonkh”, “Khatan trade” LLCs and “Od Kr”, “Teguun suvarga” cooperatives, which have received the loan to produce food stuff, national shoes, vacuum windows and for tailoring.
Owners of the enterprisers complained that the terms of loans are too rough, and asked the government to give proper opportunities in getting loans, to pay attention to duplicated credits and to make the repayment terms more flexible.
After receiving opinions, the First Deputy Premier promised to take related steps and said that a project is to be realized with a financing of EUR 4 million to improve skills of businessmen and carry out advisory service.
