AZERI GRANDMASTER BEATS GREEK RIVAL IN NEGROPONTE-2010 TOURNAMENT

Baku, August 17 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani grandmaster Nijat Mammadov has defeated Greek Marina Makropulo in the 8th round of an international Negroponte-2010 tournament in Chalkida, Greece, increasing his points to 5.
The tournament brings together 204 players from 29 countries.
Turkish Suat Atalik leads the table.
