Yemen, IIO discuss security cooperation SANA'A

SANA'A, July 24 (Saba)- Interior Minister Mutahar al-Masri held Thursday talks with a delegation of the International InterpolOrganization (IIO) on the aspects of security cooperation between Yemen and the organization and ways of reinforcing them.

During their meeting in Sana'a, al-Masri and the IIO delegation affirmed the importance of making advance technology in the rapid exchange of security information between the IIO and Yemeni security services.

The Minister commended the role played by the IIO in the area of crime control in order to contributing to enhancing security cooperation with the organization.

For his part, the delegation praised Yemen's efforts in combating terrorism and eliminating sources of drugs and organized crime.

The delegation also high level of performance has been achieved by the Interpol office in Sana'a and its fruitful cooperation with the regional Interpol offices.
