German daily: Iran joins world's nuclear club as Bushehr plant opens
Berlin, Aug 17, IRNA -- Iran is joining world's nuclear club as Bushehr reactor is set to go online, Berlin-based daily Der Tagesspiegel said in an editorial Monday.
The Islamic Republic has finally been admitted in the coveted circle of nuclear powers, it said, branding it a "triumph" for the Iranian government.
Iran's inauguration of the Bushehr reactor, slated for August 21, proves that Tehran was able to achieve its nuclear goals "despite international pressure," the paper added./end
