MODERATE QUAKE ROCKS TERNATE
Bengkulu, July 25 (ANTARA) - A moderate earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale rocked Ternate, North Maluku province, at 5.24 am on Friday, Meteorological and Geophysics office (BMG) said.
The BMG said the epicenter of the earthquake was located 1.26 degrees norther latitude and 126.91 degrees eastern longitude.
It was about 75 km to north west of Ternate, provincial capital of North Maluk, at a depth of about 65 km.
