AZERI OFFICIAL TO PARTICIPATE IN ICOM`S GENERAL CONFERENCE
Baku, August 15 (AzerTAc). Official of Azerbaijani National Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) will participate in the 22nd General Conference of ICOM in Shanghai from November 7-12.
ICOM is the international organization of museums and museum professionals which is committed to the conservation, continuation and communication to society of the world`s natural and cultural heritage, present and future, tangible and intangible.
Created in 1946, ICOM is a non-governmental organization (NGO) maintaining formal relations with UNESCO and having a consultative status with the United Nations` Economic and Social Council.
