Homeless in fires children to start school year on time - Fursenko

KALININGRAD, August 15 (Itar-Tass) -- Children from the families which
lost homes in fires will be able to start school year on time, Russia's
Minister of Education and Science Andrei Fursenko told the audience of the
Baltic educational forum.
"There should not be problems with that in either of the regions which
suffered in the wildfires and the fires at peat fields," he said.
"The only problem we are facing now is the preparations for the 1st of
September at schools where temporarily homeless people and life saviours
are located," he said. "The reason why they were located in schools is
because those building suit them most, but we have discussed already that
they will leave schools, and necessary renovation will be made there."
"Prime Minister issued an order all these requirements are followed,"
Fursenko said. "It is important that children start school year on time,
in good joyful conditions, so that they come to renovated clean schools."
