S-300 in Abkhazia do not threaten anybody - General Zelin
MOSCOW, August 15 (Itar-Tass) -- The S-300 missile systems deployed in
Abkhazia are a means of defence and they do not threaten anybody,
Commander-in-Chief of Russia's Sky Force Colonel-General Zelin said in an
interview to the Ekho Moskvy /Echo of Moscow/ radio station.
"We do not have any problems with Abkhazia regarding Russia's sky
forces there," he said. "Together with Abkhazia's authorities we should
reanimate the airport in Sukhum."
"As for the sky forces there, everything is clear," he continued. "If
there is a task, we fulfil it, and we are not going to threaten anybody."
