Indian FM conveys sympathies over Pakistan’s floods losses
Islamabad, Aug 14, IRNA - Indian Minister for External Affairs S.M. Krishna in a telephone call with his Pakistani counterpart on Friday, conveyed sympathies on behalf of the Indian government and people on the devastation caused by floods in Pakistan.
During the conversation, the Pakistani foreign minister appreciated the messages of condolences from the Indian side on both the recent floods in his country and the tragic plane crash in Margalla on July 28, 2010, a statement said.
The Indian minister also felicitated the Pakistani government and nation on the occasion of Pakistan’s Independence Day./end
