RF to supply 1,500 tons of crop seeds, 20,000 tons of diesel fuel to Kyrgyzstan.

MOSCOW, August 13 (Itar-Tass) -- Russia will supply 1,500 tons of crop seeds and 20,000 tons of diesel fuel to Kyrgyzstan by late September, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Friday.

In May 2010, Russia issued a 20-million-U.S. dollar grant to the
Kyrgyz government and resolved to issue another one worth 10 million U.S.
dollars. The sides are looking into issuing a 30-million-U.S. dollar
non-interest loan. In April-June, the Russian Emergencies Ministry
delivered a total of 400 tons of humanitarian aid (foodstuffs, medicines,
medical equipment, tents) to Kyrgyzstan.
"Kyrgyz citizens, who had received injuries in the June unrest in
Kyrguzstan's southern regions, were given an opportunity to receive
high-quality medical treatment at Moscow's best clinics," the ministry
said. "Not long ago, the Russian ambassador in Bishkek and heads of the
CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation handed over to the Kyrgyz
ministry of education 100 computers, 10 printers, study aids, books, CDs,
stationery, and school equipment for secondary schools, and boarding
schools for the visually impaired children in Bishkek, Osh, and
Jalal-Abad."
"Russia is offering large-scale all-round assistance and support to
the Kyrgyz leaders and people to help stabilize the political situation in
the country and solve pressing problems in the financial and economic, and
social spheres," the ministry said and stressed that Russia "will keep
helping the people of friendly Kyrgyzstan."
