CHAIRMAN OF NAKHCHIVAN SUPREME ASSEMBLY MEETS IGDIR GOVERNOR
Nakhchivan, August 12 (AzerTAc). Chairman of Nakhchivan Supreme Assembly Vasif Talibov has today met governor of Turkish Igdir region Amir Cicek.
Talibov wished the governor successes in his new post, expressing assurance he would spare no efforts to contribute to further developing the bilateral ties.
Talibov said Turkey and Azerbaijan are bound together by national and spiritual values.
“We must continue to develop these values.”
He said the path founded by national leaders of Turkey and Azerbaijan Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and Heydar Aliyev is being successfully continued by presidents.
The Governor of Igdir said during his tenure he would do his best to contribute to boosting relations with Nakhchivan.
Turkish council general in Nakhchivan Ayhan Enginar was present at the meeting.
