Saleh lands in London

LONDON, Aug. 11 (Saba) - President Ali Abdullah Saleh arrived
on Wednesday in Britain's capital, London, on a visit during which he is meeting
Prime
Minister David Cameron and other senior UK officials. The talks will focus on the
bilateral relationship and ways to boost cooperation in all areas. Arriving for the
few-day
visit, he told reporters that he would hold talks with UK officials on all issues
related to the Yemeni-British cooperation and partnership, topped by the efforts to
bring
stability to the African Horn and fight terrorism and maritime piracy. He
appreciated the UK's role in supporting Yemen's development, stability, security,
and unity, saying
Britain has always proved its interest in providing unlimited support to Yemen based
on its view that a united and stable Yemen is a major factor for the regional
stability
and boosting anti-terrorism and piracy efforts. He hoped the visit would contribute
to strengthening the bilateral cooperation in all areas as he welcomed British
investments
to Yemen. FR
