Greece offers help to Russian in extinguishing natural fires

ATHENS, August 11 (Itar-Tass) - Greece is ready to send a group of
experts to Russia to help extinguishing natural fires. The Greek Foreign
Ministry reports that the Ministry's general secretary Ioannis Zepos on
Tuesday informed the Russian Embassy in Athens that Greece was ready to
send a C-130 military transportation aircraft with at least forty
anti-fire experts onboard.
Besides, the Greek Foreign Ministry has allowed Russians who are now
staying in Greece to extend their sojourn until September 10 irrespective
of when the entry visas expire in their passports.
The Greek Foreign Ministry also reports that the Greek embassy in
Moscow and consulates across Russia continue working in a normal regime.
