2 Sri Lankan arrested in northern Yemen
SAADA, Aug.10 (Saba) - The security authorities in Saada Province have arrested two foreigners, a man and woman, while trying to infiltrate into Saudi Arabia with assistance from a Yemeni smuggler, the Interior Ministry has reported.
The arrested were identified as Sri Lankan citizens, aged between 28-35.
They were turned over to investigators along with the smuggler, 25, from Ibb Province.
Separately, the authorities received a 12-year girl deported by Saudis after she
had been smuggled into the Saudi kingdom.
