President addresses nation on Ramadan

SANA'A, Aug. 10 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh affirmed on Tuesday that the good faith of the serious and responsible dialogue
is our way to treat all issues concerning our country to encounter all challenges in the face of its development process.

He also affirmed that peace will continue to be our choice to thwart any external
plans which try to drag the country to war.
On the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, President Saleh said
that "we will work with the wise people of the country in order to stabilize
security and
peace and impose respect for the constitution and law." He expressed hope that
dialogue between the GPC and JMP will lead to achieve the sought after national
objectives.
Saleh asserted the continuation of efforts for the sake of overcoming challenges
facing the country represented by the economic factor which is reflected on a
number of
other challenges such as extremism and terrorism.
He called on the government to continue implementing its programs and measures in
the economic field and provide further facilities to encourage investment in order
to create
more work opportunities and limit unemployment.
On this holy month, Saleh called on all people to fruitfully work to achieve the
good for the people and the country, pointing out to the spiritual lessons and
benefits
during Ramadan.
