IRGC official: Iran to retaliate if its vessels inspected

Bandar Abbas, Hormuzgan Prov, Aug 10, IRNA – The IRGC Navy commander warned the ultra-regional countries that Iran will retaliate if its vessels are inspected in the Persian Gulf.
Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi stressed that Iran is dominant in the region and any actions against it will be strongly dealt with.
Talking to reporters in this Persian Gulf province, he said it would be disastrous for the world to even imagine that the Persian Gulf does not play its role in the world arena.
He stressed that the warships belonging to ultra-regional powers will instantly leave the Persian Gulf once Iranian warships are stationed in the sea.
The rear admiral further stressed that Iran was in full control of the Hormuz Strait and would retaliate any actions against its interests./end
