METEOROLOGY INSTITUTE REPORTS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology says that a maximum precipitationwas in Binder soum, Khentii aimag (141.0 mm) in July, 2010.
The absolute high air temperature reached +42.4°C in Zamiin- Uud soum, Dornogobi aimag, the absolute low air temperature was -1.0°C in Khatgal soum, Khovsgol aimag. The maximum wind speed reached 28 m/sec in Sukhbaatar, Selenge aimag.
Concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded 8 times around the west crossroad, and four times around the city's 13th micro district; concentration of sulphur dioxide exceeded twice around the Khan-Uul district, and once around West crossroad; particulate matter less than 10 micrograms exceeded twice around the Khan-Uul district, and three times around the 13th micro district; particulate matter less than 2.5 micrograms exceeded once around the Khan-Uul district and 13th micro district. The concentration of ozone exceeded twice around the Khan-Uul district from the maximum allowable concentration of air quality standard in July, 2010.
