UNEMPLOYMENT RATES IN STATISTICS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The number of active job hunters, registered at the Labour and Welfare Service Divisions in aimags and capital city, reached 39,176 by the end of July, 2010, decreasing 1,490 people or 3.7 per cent against the previous year.
This decrease was mainly due to the decrease in Arkhangai (202 people), Dornogobi (318 people), Bayankhongor (365 people), Khovd (682 people) Zavkhan (873 people), Tov (996 people) aimags.
