AZERBAIJAN TO SEND GROUP OF 120 FIREFIGHTERS TO RUSSIA
Baku, August 10 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan, Latvia and France offered assistance to Russia to prevent forest fires in Russia, chief of international cooperation department of Russian Emergency Situations Ministry Yury Brajnikov said.
Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Emergency Situations will send a group of 120 firefighters to Russia, Mr. Brajnikov said.
Currently, the firefighting helicopters from Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Belarus continue rescue operations here. Besides, two helicopters from Turkey, one from France and two from Italy will be soon send to Russia.
