Crude oil sales for next October approved

SANA'A, Aug. 09 (Saba) - The Supreme
Committee on Crude Oil Marketing, chaired by Prime Minister Ali Mujawar approved on
Monday the
sales of crude oil for October, 2010, with a total quantity of 5.25 million barrels.
The committee approved to sell the available quantity of crude oil, produced in
Masila in Hadramout province, which is estimated at 2.75 million barrels, for the
best offered
price, 8 cents minus per barrel.
In addition to, the committee approved the official price of the available quantity
of Marib crude oil, estimated at 2.5 million barrels, for Dated Brent price, and
selling
the full quantity to the Aden Refinery Company for the purposes of local market
consumption.
The supreme committee reviewed the report of the technical committee on the
implementation of crude oil sales for August - September 2010, confirming that the
shipping process
of the quantities allocated for exporting and the local market has been made
according to the planned program.
