Indonesian President`s emissary in Sana`a
SANA'A, Aug. 09 (Saba) - The Indonesian
President's emissary to the Middle East Alwi bin Shihab arrived Monday in Sana'a on
a several-day
visit to Yemen.
During his visit, bin Shihab would hold talks with Yemeni officials at the Ministry
of Oil and Minerals over strengthening economic and trade relations between the two
brotherly
countries.
"There are Indonesian companies currently operating in Yemen and we would like to
see more companies working in this country in the field of oil and gas", bin Shihab
said.
He pointed that a delegation of Yemeni parliament has recently visited Indonesia
and urged the competent authorities in the government to enhance the cooperation
between
the two countries in the field of oil and gas.
In this regard, bin Shihab affirmed his country's keenness to develop and support
the economic cooperation between Yemen and Indonesia in this aspect.
