Kazakhstan imposes no restrictions on grain exports

ASTANA, August 9 (Itar-Tass) - Kazakhstan does not take measures to
restrict grain exports and can supply grain to Russia, the Agriculture
Ministry's spokesman, Yevgeny Aman, told reporters on Monday.
"At present, Kazakhstan's government does not take measures to
restrict grain exports. Most likely Russia will ask to direct our exports
opportunities to the Russian markets," he said.
Aman noted that Kazakhstan's entrepreneurs "undoubtedly without any
instructions will export grain to the Russian market," as it is "the
closest and the clearest market."
"Even if we have the most pessimistic scenario with the grain harvest,
in any case the opportunity for exports remains," he said.
