AZERI GRANDMASTER CLAIMS WORLD RAPID CHESS SILVER

Baku, August 9 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani grandmaster Vugar Hashimov has won silver medal at the World Rapid Chess Championship in Mainz, Germany.
He secured the title after scoring 9.5 points in 11 rounds.
The United States` Gata Kamsky garnered 10 points to claim the world crown.
