SEVERAL CONSULATES TO OPEN IN GANJA
Ganja, August 9 (AzerTAc). The consulates of several countries are planed to open in Ganja, Azerbaijan`s second largest city, said chief of the city administration Eldar Azizov.
According to him, Russia, Turkey and Georgia have applied to Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Foreign Affairs for opening their consulates in the city.
“I believe the issue will be dealt with in the nearest future.”
Azizov praised Azerbaijan`s economic development, saying “it has had a positive impact on the economy of Ganja as well”.
Azizov said: “Ganja`s infrastructure, state-of the-art hotels, parks and buildings let us to compare it with European cities. And it also attracts foreign countries.”
