Yemen, Syria sign 13 cooperation agreements in various areas

SANA'A, Aug. 08 (Saba)-
The Higher Yemeni-Syrian Joint Committee signed on Sunday, at the end of its 10th
round
in Sana'a, 13 cooperation agreements covering various fields, in addition to the
round minutes.
The signed agreements include the executive programs of the MoU for cooperation and
coordination between the foreign ministries of the two countries, social security,
planning
and international cooperation, water and sanitation, cultural cooperation,
agricultural cooperation between the two countries' agriculture unions, education,
exchange of
experience in the area of small and micro enterprises and two MoUs between the
diplomatic institutes of the foreign ministries of Yemen and Syria, in addition to a
protocol
of cooperation between the general assemblies of the two countries' cabinets.
In the concluding session, Prime Minister Ali Mujawar pointed out to the importance
of this round as a follow-up one for what has been agreed on, expressing his
confidence
that the formed joint committee for follow-up, co-chaired by transport ministers of
the two countries, will significantly translate what has been agreed on within the
Higher
Yemeni-Syrian Joint Committee to serve the Yemeni-Syrian relations.
For his part, the Syrian Prime Minister Mohammed Utri expressed pleasure for the
achievements of this round, affirming that the round was rich of serious talks and
addressed
cooperation stages and their results and hindrances.
He thanked the Yemeni leadership, people and government for the good arrangements
and reception which made the talks successful.
