President Saleh meets with Syrian PM

SANA'A, Aug.08(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah
Saleh met here on Sunday with the Syrian Prime Minister Mohammed Naji al-Utri, who
heads
the Syrian side in the meetings of the 10th session of the Yemeni-Syrian High Joint
Committee held in Sana'a.
During the meeting, al-Utri briefed President Saleh on the Yemeni-Syrian High Joint
Committee's discussions, expected results, and the agreements to be signed between
the
two sides in a number of vital areas that would strengthen the fraternal relations,
joint cooperation, mutual interests and investment projects in all areas between the
two
countries.
Talks in the meeting dealt with the developments of situations at the regional and
international levels as well as several issues of common concern.
President Saleh welcomed the Syrian prime minister and his accompanying delegation,
wishing success for the meetings of the 10 session of the Yemeni-Syrian High Joint
Committee.
