AZERBAIJAN WIN 3 EUROPEAN WRESTLING MEDALS

Baku, August 8 (AzerTAc). Young Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers have claimed two gold and one bronze medal at the European championship in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Golds came from Karim Jafarov and Huseyn Abbasov in the 42 kg and 50 kg weight categories respectively. Abbasov secured his title after beating Armenian Rudik Mkrtchian in the final bout.
Azerbaijan`s bronze came from Rovshan Taghiyev in the 58kg class.
