Int’l exhibit on agricultural machinery, greenhouse farming opens
Hamedan, Aug 7, IRNA -- The Seventh International Exhibit of agriculture machinery, irrigation systems and greenhouse farming opened in Hamedan on Saturday.
Managing director of Hamedan International Exhibition, Hamid Reza Yari said that to help the farmers of the western Iran get acquainted with the latest developments in the fields of framing, harvesting and irrigation and moving towards mechanized agriculture are the objectives of the event.
He said that the Iranian and foreign companies are participating at the ongoing event.
Germany, Britain, Italy, Holland, Belarus, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, the US and Switzerland have taken part in the exhibit.
He noted that the exhibit showcases the latest achievements in the various fields including food industry, agriculture machinery, poultry farming and irrigation equipment.
Specialized seminars on agriculture will also be held on the sidelines of the exhibit, he said.
The exhibit will work until August 10./end
