Pakistan's President urges businessmen play effective role to bring country out of economic crisis
Rawalpindi, July 24 PPI: Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf Wednesday urged business community to play effective role in bringing the country out of economic crisis.
Talking to delegation of Islamabad Stock Exchange, he said fundamentals of economy were ``sound. Present environment should be managed through confidence of people and investors. Political stability and sustainability of policies are also imperative for sound economy.'' Musharraf reiterated Pakistan's firm resolve to eliminate terrorism and extremism to ensure security of life and property of people. He appealed for promoting national harmony, reconciliation by shunning all differences and rising beyond personal likesor dislikes.
