Moldova ready to help Russia overcome wildfires consequences - PM
CHISINAU, August 8 (Itar-Tass) -- Moldova is ready to help Russia in
overcoming the consequences of the wildfires raging across the country,
Moldova's Prime Minister Vlad Filat said over a meeting with Russia's
Charges d'affaires ad interim Vitaly Tryapitsin.
Filat wanted to learn what kind of assistance Russia may require.
"At such complicated times, it is necessary to be next to each other
and to help each other," he said. "We are next to you and with those who
suffered in the wildfires."
Tryapitsin thanked Filat for the readiness to provide assistance.
"We appreciate your move, especially in the situation where Moldova
itself faces the consequences of the floods," he said and thanked for the
condolence telegram, which Filat had sent to his counterpart Vladimir
Putin.
