Quake measuring around 5 points rocks Chukotka.

VLADIVOSTOK, August 7 (Itar-Tass) - An earthquake measuring 4.8 points
occurred on the Chukotka Peninsula on Friday.
According to the geophysical service of the Russian Academy of
Sciences, the epicentre was located at an isolated area of Kolyuchin Bay.
The villages of Vankarem and Enurmino on the Arctic coast are located
several hundreds kilometres from the epicentre.
The seismic focus was registered at the depth of 10 kilometres. The
earth shocks took place at 23:18 local time (16:18 Moscow time).
The have been no reports on the effects of the quake so far.
