“ARTE” TELEVISION CHANNEL BROADCASTS FILM ON CREATIVE ACTIVITY OF PRINCESS OF AZERBAIJANI JAZZ
Baku, August 7 (AzerTAc). European cultural television channel “ARTE” broadcasted the 43-minute documentary on life and creative activity of princess of Azerbaijani jazz Aziza Mustafazade.
The shooting of the film took place in the sights of Azerbaijani capital Baku, including coastal national park “Bulvar”, Icheri Sheher ( Inner City) - a symbol of ancient Baku, “House of government”.
Aziza Mustafazade told of unusual peculiarities of Baku city, where she grew up and studied the fineness of jazz, traditions of the original culture and art, the friendly and hospitable residents. In the film, Mustafazade says that Azerbaijan has always shown a great interest to jazz laid by his father Vagif Mustafazade, who made a synthesis of the western classical jazz with Azeri mugham.
Performance of own jazz compositions, including “Romantic night”, “How to love” gives an opportunity to the Europeans to familiarize themselves with modern Azerbaijani jazz, laid by eminent master of jazz Vafig Mustafazade - one of the rare pearl of world jazz.
The film on princess of Azerbaijani jazz Aziza will be again broadcasted on August 8 in the “Arte” French-German Television Channel, which is evidence of great interest of audience to this music.
