FOREIGN MINISTER MEETS CHILDREN FROM QINGHAI PROVINCE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia G.Zandanshatar received Thursday 60 children from Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai province of China. They are having rest in the "Friendship" International Children's Center.
These children have been invited by the Prime Minister of Mongolia S.Batbold, about which ws sounded during official visit of Wen Jiabao, the Premier of China, to Mongolia this June.
At the meeting with the children, Mr. Zandanshatar expressed his satisfaction with their coming to Mongolia and wished an enjoyable stay in Mongolia. He said he is satisfied with a successful development of Mongolia-China good neighborhood and partnership relations. "You are the people who are to hold the friendly relations and cooperation between our countries," G.Zandanshatar told the children.
The Minister expressed his deep regrets over deadly earthquake that took place in Qinghai province, and wished the children to learn and work with a confidence in the future and to overcome the difficulties. He said the government of Mongolia rendered assistance of USD 50 thousand to Qinghai province for Yushu prefecture.
In response, the children thanked the government of Mongolia for organizing the tour and holiday and said they are very happy with visiting Mongolia and making friends with Mongolian children.
