YOUNG AZERI WRESTLERS WIN 4 EUROPEAN MEDALS
Baku, August 5 (AzerTAc). Young Azerbaijani wrestlers have grabbed 4 medals in the European championship in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Mirjalal Hasanzade, Mukhtar Sadullayev and Parviz Akhundov garnered silver medal in the 48 kg, 63 kg and 76 kg weight categories respectively.
Another Azeri wrestler Farrukh Alakbarov weighing in at 54 kg won bronze medal, after beating Bulgarian Ali Ahmad.
On the first day of the competition, Azeri wrestler claimed 3 medals, including one gold.
